Position Summary:
HTSL is seeking a NDT Sales and Technical Support Specialist to drive the growth and success of their NDT division. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, target-driven individual with a passion for customer service and technical support. This role involves frequent visits to customer sites across the UK and HTSL offices, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, managing sales processes, and supporting the ongoing development of our NDT product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for NDT-related inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and technical support.
- Maintain and develop relationships with both new and existing customers, focusing on business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Assist the NDT manager with sales analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
- Manage sales processes including quotations, order processing, and logistics coordination.
- Identify and follow up on sales opportunities during customer visits and explore new product or service development opportunities within the NDT division.
- Investigate and resolve customer feedback related to NDT products and services.
- Attend regular site visits to clients to assess their requirements, demonstrate products, and deliver value propositions.
- Continuously improve operational procedures for the NDT team.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of NDT equipment, safety, security, and the regulatory aspects of handling and transporting high-activity sources.
- Provide technical support for products, services, and both internal and external projects.
Key Skills:
- Proven background in selling NDT equipment and services.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Basic engineering skills and the ability to work safely in a regulated environment.
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role.
- Strong understanding of NDT products, services, and market needs.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and import/export controls related to radioactive materials (training provided).
- A valid UK driving license is essential.
