We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Diving Operations and Project Manager. In this role, you will provide essential assistance and support to our diving department, overseeing diving, ROV, and survey operations. Your responsibilities will include managing tenders and RFQs, project schedules, and costs, and ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and support the diving department in coordinating diving, ROV, and survey operations.
- Manage tenders and RFQs, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee project costs, including budgeting and cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Provide operational oversight and guidance to ensure projects are completed successfully.
- Foster a culture of safety, emphasizing adherence to established safety protocols.
- Conduct regular project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements to drive innovation within the department.
- Effectively communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders, both internal and external.
Requirements:
- Relevant industry and vocational qualifications and certifications (preferred certifications include 3.4U Underwater Inspection Controller, Diving Supervisor, or ROV Supervisor).
- Extensive experience in tender management, project management, and operations management.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the diving industry, both onshore and offshore.
- Background in a commercial role, with a focus on delivering projects within budget and schedule.
- Proven managerial experience, including the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
- Willingness to travel as needed for on-site project coordination.
