The big file sizes in NDE are a challenge for all current-day IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) communication standards. The medical world has found a solution - the use of a combination of two protocols: HL7 and DICOM. This can be translated into industry and NDE by using OPC UA and DICONDE.
